What is Echocardiography?
Echocardiography uses ultrasound technology to create real-time images of the heart’s structure and function. It gives us a detailed look at the heart chambers, muscle thickness, blood flow, and valve function, which is essential information for diagnosing heart disease or abnormalities.
Often, we recommend echocardiography if a heart murmur, arrhythmia, or other cardiac concern is detected during a routine examination or after an Electrocardiogram (ECG).
